Skagit Valley College – Marine Surveying Program

Skagit Valley College offers a comprehensive Yacht & Small Craft Marine Surveying Course designed to train the next generation of professional surveyors.

Located in the heart of Anacortes, Washington’s working waterfront, SVC provides hands-on instruction in vessel inspection, federal regulations, ABYC standards, report writing, and more.

Students gain real-world experience through guided labs, sea trials, and full survey report assignments. The program serves marine technicians, boatbuilders, brokers, Coast Guard and Navy veterans, and others seeking a professional pathway into the surveying trade.
